2 hours enough?

So, do you guys like the format of how the animanga club runs? Like the mystery anime? Wednesdays still good. THings right now are scheduled out till Febuary, but after that one possibility is we could have meetings that are longer and show more stuff. It could be 3 hours. It could be 4 hours on a weekend. 2 hours though might be good; I know with school and homework it is hard to always have time to come. Maybe 2 hours is perfect because it's easier to sneak away for just a short bit of 2 hour fun! Plus, if it was longer (like 6-9) it might cut into dinner. What are your thoughts?

Yeah, I think 2 hours is enough. sure, maybe we can't see as many animes as we might like, but like you said, 3 hours would cut into dinner... and I know many of us like to eat ^^

I'm also one of those people who stress on homework, and any longer might interfere. I think 2 hours is just right ^0^

We could have pizza or something for dinner here too. But, I think 2 hours is working well now. Just curious about people's thoughts.

I think two hours is enough given that it's on a school night and it's not summer. Although, you could make it two and a half hours, just to make it a bit longer without possibly running into dinner time.

The pizza idea is good because then we would be fed here. ^^

Overall two hours is perfect. =)

One possibility too is that we could have a super special Animanga Club meeting, where we hold it on the weekend and have it be longer and show more stuff -kind of like the Day of Anime- but have it maybe only once or twice a year as something special...

Just more possibilities....

I'm curious too if people like the format of showing one main series continously for a few months at a time (like we did with Naruto) with a mystery Anime at the end of each meeting to spice things up, or would you prefer 3 epsiodes of something totally new and different each and every meeting (I.E. have a bleach animanga club meeting, next month a fruits basket animanga club month, etc.)

I think what we have now works well, but I thought I'd ask to get your opinion...

One other thing,
I am thinking we may push things back starting in March to 6:45 - 8:45, rather than 7:00 - 9:00 just to give people time to leave and clean up and not feel rushed....

That is INGENIOUS. yes.

(especially since my friend and I always sneak off to the teen room while Naruto's playing)

I think wee should have them twice a month. Once on th Wednesday for two hours then maybe on a Saturday for longer. That would be sweet.

question. does animanga club have a budget? or are you [librarian hokage] paying this with your own money?

yeah. wednesday is definitely a good day for me to go to animanga club. as for the longer one, saturday would probably work best, but how about sunday?
