I have expanded upon Neko's marvelous idea so that you now have the option of drawing two TOTALLY different types of shinigami, just to give people options depending on what mood they are in. It would be cool to see personal takes on Death Note shinigami (like it might be interesting to see a female shinigami), or it might be neat to see more normal looking shinigami too, if you can call them normal...If you haven't read or seen full moon o Sagashite then here's what I'm talking about: Full Moon Shinigami: http://annika.animanga.de/Reviews/Bilder/fmws02.gif
They have wings and bunny and cat ears for some reason (I don't know if the reason for this was explained in the manga or not).... I'm sure there are better pictures out there, but this gives you the idea.

nerd-kun there are female shinigamis.(death note shinigami)
rem is a female even if she doesnt look it -.-
kitsune and i had a hard time figuring out what gender she was, but in shonen jump it was giving profiles on ryuk and rem and it said female shinigami, shonen jump does not lie!!!(i hope T-T)

your visiting relitives or something, right nezumi? if they have a scanner you can probaly use theirs. (just a suggestion)

really you wouldnt be able to tell by the book (im not sure about the anime)
according to kitsune in the book sometimes they say she and other times they say he.
so kitsune was confused for awhile which then confused me until shonen jump our savior set things right

zomg i keep forgetting to ask, whats the due date for this manga mission?

At first I was thinking till the next Animanga Club meeting (i.e. about one month), but I'm thinking maybe we'll extend this one till the meeting after that (in March) to see if there's a better response with more time. I know it's hard to always find time to draw things (remember that quick sketches or doodles are o.k. too).

So...to answer your question, around March 12th.

As for the manga for the winners, I'll have a bunch to choose from but I can't guarantee they will all be ones you will like or even ones at the start of the series -you might have to get something in the middle- so in this regard they will be a little random -but I thought at least this would be a little better prize than just a rank, though the first place winner still gets a special rank name too for the site if they want).

I was just asking about if I could enter more than one picture, so I think what he means is that you can only win one prize (like, 1st 2nd or 3rd), not all three... if you know what I mean...
