There's a huge cosplay anime convention that's held in Detroit every year. It's called Youmacon. www.youmacon.com. I think though you have to be 18 to go, or if not then you might have to have your parents with you....So I know, I know...why do I tempt you....but I thought I would put it on here for you to check out anyway, just for something to dream about, if you're under 18, for the future (...I'm so mean). Plus, though, if you see anything on there that looks cool that you'd like to see us do in Animanga club too, let me know!!

I discovered what it is-for the convention if people are under 18 then their parents have to sign a consent form. It's under their registration section.

Also, after dark they have a few slightly, let us say, racier events you have to be 18 or older to attend.

Youmacon is actually held in Troy, in the Hilton. One of my friends lives near there.

Hey, you're right! Thanks for clearing that up. I've checked the website before but I never really took a good look at the location xD... I'm not going to be able to go anyway. I think. For one thing, even though Dearborn is closer than Troy, I doubt anyone would take me xD and I'm not 18... actually I've got a lot of years to go I can't drive... oh well. Tell me how it goes!
