I haven't read the manga, but i've seen the anime, and that I actually kind of like. The thing is most people are only familiar with Prince of Tennis in the American dubbed anime version on Cartoon network, and it has a TOTALLY different feel in japanese. It has to be intense and over the top (people screaming in intense concentration while playing tennis) and it just doesn't come across the right way in English, so it kind of ruins it. I imagine it works for the manga though, since you can imagine it that way while reading. A lot of peolpe really really like that series. It's very popular, believe it or not. Eh, but everyone has different tastes...

i have no idea how a manga about tennis could be popular.....

Are we still talking about Loveless here? Well, if we are, I have to say it doesn't really get hentai. I mean, Ritsuka's what, twelve? Yeah, Loveless is BL, but you have to be into shouta to read it.

Can people have dog ears to symbolize virginity in their world? I mean, if you look at Yuiko, her ears and tail look more like a dog's than a cat's...

Well, Prince of Tennis is okay, but I've only read the first five volumes so I can see how it gets repetitive. The only sports manga I've liked was Ookiku Furibatte. Which was finally licensed, though I can't find the release date...

And when it comes out, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya should be requested for the library. Or at least the anime, which is out.

whats funny is that i've bought and read hardcore yaoi but i've never read loveless, i'm always tempted to but the first volume is never in. i think it was once but i chickened out...

i loved Legal Drug though, wasn't that the one BL thing from CLAMP? that was good, i liked Princess Princess a lot when i watched it and i quote Gravi quite awesome and bring it up a lot.

hopefully i can start reading loveless soon.

yeah, i definitely will.

CLAMP has a lot of BL and so does Bandai, so Code Geass really came out as one of the gayest anime i've seen, the yaoi pairings in there are endless. plus they paced it like Death Note so that added even more yaoi into it!

CLAMP has a lot of GL too, i think those guys just love same sex love.
