i think comic con is closer. its in....novi? i dunno, it didnt take sasuke and i long to get there though.
JAFAX is a free admission con, but its in grand rapids. or if you want to go to a more mello, dont-have-to-plan-much con, comic con would be perfect.

i wonder about ohio con....i should go to that one year. i heard mixed things about it, but it seems worth it.
i think kakashi-san goes to that. if i get to see him anything is worth it! <3

youma con, depends on how many days and if you pre register. im going to assume you'll want a three day pass, if you pre register no later than the end of june, it should only be 35$

and i totally dont mind you hanging out with us. though if we do decide to wander off on our own/split up. you'll have to be responsible for following me or whatever. if im with kakashi and your not tagging behind me, im going to assume you found something else to occupy yourself with. thats what it was like at youma con, we stuck together when we wanted, other times we went off on our own or followed someone else around. =/

that may not sound great but it was fun and we all met wonderful new people ^_^

this year at youma con we'll probably reclaim our 'usual spot' so to speak, under the stairs. thats where we met up and where you could easily find other people in our group.

And no matter what con you go to, I suggest pre-registering. Not only is the line to pick up your badge shorter, but it's usually cheaper, even if you miss the really good deals. Some cons will even mail your badges to you in advance for a few extra dollars, which means you don't even have to wait in a line (Anime Central does this).

I assume our usual group for Youmacon. Mr, Bri-Bri, Bri-Bri's mom, my mom, Mel-Chan, Stephanie, Alisha (Bri-Bri's cousin), and Alisha's mom.

If anyone wants to look for me I should be in a white/greyish wig in a Shuffle! uniform. Though, I'll probably spot other people first...

i like our spot, there was a piano right by our spot, so we sat at it or put stuff on it. its simply fun sitting under the stairs, the area they had was pretty cool, and we were at like a cross roads sorta spot so we saw many people. we all stood there with a variety of custom made 'glomp me' signs (they fit our character of course) we got many glomps. XD

i dont know if comic con pre registers. it didnt say anything on the site before. i dunno, we really didnt have to wait long to get our passes during comic con. and its not like badges either, we got those wrist band things....

im so glad i dont have any 'parental authority' with my group during the con. i spent youma con weekend completely away from parents -^_^- oh what a weekend that was!

im gonna be rin kagamine during youma con, i dont think it will be to hard to find me ;3 at least on saturday i will be. ill also be anbu itachi, there was only one other anbu that i saw last year. on friday i will be

Eh, parents aren't so bad. To be honest, as long as I had my cell phone on me I could go wherever. Of course, we all gathered together in the skit line.

On Saturday I should be Primela from Shuffle! and on Sunday I should be Osaka from Azumanga Daioh. Heh, should we really be talking about this nine months from the actual Youmacon? Wouldn't we be jinxing it or something?

if i can get a ride to Jafax, i'll probably be going as seifer with a twilight town group though i think the hayner might be taller than me...that's a bit...embarrassing xD;;

and i might be able to finish my lenalee outfit in time for jafax too, depending on how many days i'm there.

as for youmacon, i definitely hope i can go! xD i have a lot of costumes planned for it this year actually O_o AC Cloud, lenalee (1st uniform) and Dino from KHR.

jafax we were going to do d gray man, so id be kanda, but my group was also thinking about doing princess princess. thats if we're able to get the dresses in time. money seems to be a problem for us. (isnt it for everyone?)

youma con, im going to try to go for a biton thursday, so my plans go luike this;

thursday: yuu kanda
friday :anbu itachi
saturday: rin kagamine
sunday :yuu kanda

honestly i dont think there will be many anbu itachis or rin kagamines at youma con so i wont be to hard to find ;3

Yes, pre-registering before the end of June is $35, the con lasts from 5am Thursday to 5pm Sunday. And it does cover the whole four days. I want to skip school Friday to go, but my parents won't let me, and since I can't drive it's not like I can go there myself...

You don't have to pick a character that looks like you to dress up as, you know. Most people don't look at all like the characters they cosplay as if they dress normally. To help, I normally carry a picture of who I'm supposed to be to show to people who ask (because so few people know what Shuffle! is...)

well i'd like to look somewhat like them. i have the same eye color as Yzak as well as he's kinda pale like me. Kira is tanned but my hair can easily look like his plus he's my favorite character of all time. i look almost exactly like Lockon [cept i'm not tall like him TT.TT] so thats easy. Fayt is another i could dress as easily because of the hair, i just would need to wash-in dye mine blue.

Albel Would be a real challenge, i look nothing like him but i love his outfit so i want to try it as him.

i wanna look good as my character as well as be able to act a little like them, so i'm trying to find characters i resemble a little or like a lot.

gen's right jd, you dont have to look exactly like your characters. im just lazy and i choose the easy ones like kanda and itachi ^_^ 'cept kanda is much taller than i am.

something ive noticed with myself and some of my other friends who havent really done cosplay before and are doing it for the first time, their expectations for themselves are to high. sure its great to get your cosplay as close as possible, but no need to get obsessive about it. ive cosplayed as itachi so many times that i dont care as long as i have my cloak XD im a bad itachi ;p but i like being snj or crossdressing itachi, tis fun indeed. :3

im doing rin kagamine and i look nothing like her. i dont have her body structure, her voice, her blue eyes and theres no way in anime hell i am dying my hair blonde and cutting it. but its still going to be fun as hell cosplaying as her ^_^ im so excited!

i wish i could skip school on friday, i dont think my mom would let me though either. im gonna try to go on thursday from 3 (basically right after school) to 7 or 8. thats a good 5 hours now ^_^
ah, i totally forgot about thursday being included in the 3-day pass. dont worry jd, once the youma con site updates (which probably wont be till march or may) we'll make sure everything is set immidently. i think i registered in like may or something.

yeah, i know i don't have to look much like them, but i want to. thats why i'm choosing easy ones for me to look like.

i can just get a wig for Albel [like i am for Yzak] and i might not ever get around to getting violet contacts, so i might be blue-grey eyed Kira, but i wanna at least try.

i'm not too obessed, i just don't wanna phone it in either. i at least want to look pretty for my first time, i want it to be special... i can make it more spontanious, sloppy, messy, and probably fun afterwords.

I normally choose characters that have a hair color that matches my eyebrows...There's really nothing like wearing around a blond wig with brown eyebrows...

See, Neko, when Genten goes to Youmacon she is staying at Youmacon. I couldn't handle actually leaving for a day and then going back the next day...Stay up late and wake up early! There is no need for sleep or meals at a convention!
