Well, I shop pretty much at every Border's, but I usually go to the new one on Ellsworth, or the one in Arborland. Though lately I haven't been going (maybe because I'm broke...)

To me, anyway, it seems there are a lot of BL titles. Mostly, just look for ones in plastic or that are larger than the others. Or look at the company logos on the books. The June, DMP, and Blu logos all appear on the binding of the books and are easy to spot.

Nah, reading scans of manga or watching episodes or anime that aren't licensed in America isn't illegal...I hope, because I do that a lot. Normally I just watch or read whatever isn't on the market or is out of print. But I like being able to hold the book in my hand, so I buy a lot more than I could.

i picked up one called loveholic, flipped through it, saw the smexy boy on boy action, bought it. there are a bunch of june manga at borders the one i go to is on ford road...ford and canton center and think. its like a 10 minute walk from my house ^^

omg same here, i love gay people in real life. i know alot of bi people but when it comes to straight up hardcore gay guys, i dont think i know any in real life. i talk to a few online, they are such sweethearts!! like my one friend, i call him kyon, hes the nicest guy ever! and hes so damn hot too, lol. but he lives in georgia. he likes teasing my friend kayla and i by sending us pics or whetever. we threatened to go to georgia and rape him eh heh, yeah....

my computer sucks ass so i cant really download manga or watch anime on my computer ^^ and for some reason i dont like sitting at my computer just reading. i usually get my yaoi from different websites, and whenever one of my friends find a new yaoi title i try to find it at the library or i just read at borders. i feel your pain genten, im completly broke too

i don't think i've actually ever met a professional that seemed gay. I've met a LOT of KIDS/teens whatever that seemed really gay, but not really any grown-ups and stuff.

like, one of my really good friend's acts totally gay and stuff and i've called him out on it, but he keeps denying it haha

ill just clear that up real fast for you guys, i am a evil kitty overlord and such, its funny cause some of my friends do call me master ^^ (i dont force them too, im a nice overlord *kitten eyes*) but i have diffrent ranks for my minions. everyone is my bitch, thats for sure (i have a icon that says your all itachis bitches, thats where that comes from) and then theres sex toys, and minions are like the higher ranking bitches. and i have pets, which yoshi is one of them. they have no power and little influence on me but they are technically closest to me....

"Doujinshi" is the term coined for Japanese "fan comics" that are either posted on to the Internet or sold at conventions. Most prominently, doujinshi feature romances that have not happened officially in the manga or anime (SasukeNaruto is a common pairing), or events that the creator(s) wish would happen (for example, Aeris coming back to life).

Most doujinshi are created by numerous illustrators, inkers, and scriptwriters. These groups are called "Doujinshi circles" and use pseudonyms on their books that relate to their common manga (or anime). For instance, one of the largest producers of Kingdom Hearts Riku x Sora doujinshis is a group of 5 (maybe six?) women, and the circle is called "RS".

Most doujinshis are sold at Comiket, which is Japan's largest comic convention ('Comiket' stands for 'Comic Market'). In fact, over the span of the three days Comiket takes place, the second day is dedicated entirely to Doujinshi and Yaoi titles.
