I'm going to be doing some modifications to our website over the next couple days, so you may see some new or funky things, or things half finished untill I get it all completed. I'll keep you posted of the changes.

The first change is there is no longer going to be a portal. It should go right to the forum now. The portal was kind of cool, but I think most people just skipped to the forum anyway -but let me know if I am wrong and you miss it.

the portal was helpfull to see who recently posted and on what, no one rarely posted more than the full list that showed up, so it really helped.

also seeing the slideshow of pics was helpfull to see the new ones.

quite frankly i liked the portal because now we have to go in each individual part to see whats up, insted of seeing a overview of what has had recent activity.

so in other words i would appreciate it if it was put back up

ah-noted. That's good to know. I was wondering if anyone looked at the portal or not. I think I'm going to try and merge some of the portal features with the actual forum page, but if that doesn't work, I'll bring the portal back, yoshi.
If anyone else has any thoughts, let me know too.

I'm curious if most people look to the most recent posts scroll thing on the portal (which is handy, I admit Yoshi) or if they just glance at the "last post" column on the main forum page to see the most recent dates/times of posts (which also can work too)...

O.K. there is now a chatbox at the bottom of the main forum page. It's still in the testing phase right now, so we'll see how it goes.... Let me know how it works. Thanks. Enjoy.

Yeah, people will have to let me know if they like it, if they would prefer maybe a different chat type feature, or if "chat" doesn't really matter to them that much one way or the other. Basically let me know if you like it. It's still really in the testing phase right now to see if it's something people will use (and how well it works at that).

As a note, the chatbox is only viewable when you log in, Guests cannot see it.

I must have not noticed, knowing how clueless and unobservant I am...

O.k. Updates:

-Adds are now gone again (sorry about that all...I know it's annoying...).

-There are some new smilies for you under "new smilies" in the emoticons drop down menu. ...they're a little weird, but then again aren't all smilies... Hopefully they will satiate your appetite until I find some more.

-I changed the ranks a little. I changed 'Kage' to be 150 posts rather than 100. There is now an 'akatsuki' rank for all of you 'evil' people that kept asking for it; that's at 100. There is also now a rank you get at 300 posts and at 600 posts , if anyone ever gets there (i'm at 234 I think). And no cheating by breaking up your posts...
